Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. As a concentrated source of autologous platelets, PRP contains (and releases through degranulation) several different growth factors and other cytokines that stimulate healing of bone and soft tissue. PRP is activated to release at least 8 essential growth factors and signaling proteins. PRP can be added to your Micro-Needling treatment. In this treatment we will draw your blood, spin the blood in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the other components of the blood. We then use the PRP during your Micro-Needling treatment.
